WELCOME!
Kompiam Rural Hospital, together with 10 health centers and aid posts, serves communities deep in the remote north of Papua New Guinea’s Enga Province – one of the most disadvantaged areas in the country. As part of Enga Baptist Health Services, a ministry of the Baptist Union of Papua New Guinea, we are committed to delivering compassionate, accessible healthcare.
Kompiam also hosts overseas medical students undertaking electives, while the University of Papua New Guinea’s Rural Clinical School, established here in 2023, makes the hospital a key centre for training future rural doctors in Papua New Guinea.
Every day, our staff and partners work to bring hope and healing to families in some of the most remote corners of PNG. We invite you to learn more about our work, join us in training the next generation of rural doctors, or support our mission to serve those most in need.
